As global inflation impacts countries around the world, we are feeling it at home in our everyday costs. That's why our Liberal government is stepping up to provide support to those who need it most with new measures through Bill C-30 and Bill C-31 that will:
Double the GST Credit for 6 months - providing up to $467 for singles without children; $612 for married or common-law partners; $612 for single parents; plus $161 for each child under the age of 19.
- UPDATE: As of Bill C-30 receiving Royal Assent on October 18th, the first payment was delivered on November 5th. The second payment will be delivered with your regular GST credit instalment on January 5th, 2023.
Introduce A New Canada Dental Benefit for Children under 12 - covering up to $1300 over two years for uninsured Canadians with an annual income of $90,000 or less.

Deliver an additional $500 to low-income renters - through a top-up to the Canada Housing Benefit. Applicants must have an adjusted net income of $35,000 or less to qualify.
